Traditional 8-hour classroom traffic school (8:00am to 4:30pm) is held at our Artesia location. This course concludes with 25 questions, multiple-choice final exam. To earn a certificate of completion of the course you’re required to earn a passing score of 70%. If you fail, you have a second chance to take the test after seven days at no additional cost.
Once you pass, your completion information is processed and sent electronically to the DMV. No action is required on your part, but it is a clever idea to follow up with the DMV a couple weeks after you finish traffic violator class.
Our school also offers a DMV approved Original Home Study Booklet. This course has four sessions. At the end of each session, there is a review.
There is a final examination consisting of 25 multiple-choice, true -false, and fill–in-the-blank questions. You are allowed 60 minutes to complete the final examination with a score of 70%. Students who pass the final examination on their first attempt and have been authenticated, will have their completion receipt sent to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) electronically within 8 hours of completion during regular working days.
Students, who do NOT receive a 70% or higher score on the final examination the first time, may take the final examination a second time at no additional cost. Students, who fail to attain a score of 70% on the second attempt, must register and attend a Traffic Violator Class or register with another DMV approved school.
Upon successful completion of the final examination, all students must take their final examination to the office or to a notary of their choice (for fax or mail in request). The notary must witness the student’s signature on the last page of the examination, and attach the notary seal to the final examination to authenticate and ensure the violator is the actual person taking the course. All students must sign and date the final examination.
Students may: Fax the final examination to: (562) 402-6774 (with notary acknowledgement)
Or mail the final examination (with notary acknowledgement) to:
Freeway Easy/Original Home Study 18173 Pioneer Blvd. Suite S-T, Artesia, CA 90701
Or hand deliver the final examination to the office at the same address.
You must return a course evaluation. Students wishing not to complete the evaluation form must sign, date and return the blank evaluation along with the final examination.
Students who meet all requirements will have their completion receipt sent to the DMV electronically within 8 hours of completion (holidays excluded).
